Virtual Solo Show by Dan Simoneau and Our "Moments" artists take over Times Square !

Solo Show by Dan Simoneau

We are pleased to introduce to you Dan Simoneau, our VR Castle Artist and his Virtual Solo Show. Click the link below to visit Dan’s showroom, the show runs from today until July 14, 2024.

You can view the show on our Website.

Dan Simoneau was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine, where he began formal art classes at 11 and 13 joined the Androscoggin Valley Art Association as its youngest member ever. By the time Dan was a sophomore in high school, he was exhibiting, winning awards, and selling his paintings at local summer art festivals. In 1980, Dan began studies at the University of Southern Maine. There, he was influenced by artists such as Caravaggio, Chuck Close, Richard Estes, and Philip Pearlstein. Of these artists, the influence of Caravaggio, Close, and Pearlstein is still evident. Dan graduated in 1984 with high honors and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Dan has continued exhibiting his work nationally and internationally, winning many awards. His paintings have also been published in many national and international publications. His work is also in several museum collections.

"In capturing the male form, I seek to challenge conventional notions of masculinity and beauty, offering a space for introspection and dialogue. By embracing vulnerability and celebrating the human experience in all its facets, my art becomes a testament to the power of connection and the universal quest for meaning and understanding. Through light, shadow, and the shared humanity of the models, I invite viewers to engage in a profound exploration of self and others, transcending boundaries and fostering empathy in a world that often feels divided."

Elevate Your Artist Bio & Statement With

HMVC’s Gold Standard

We are very happy to announce that we have implemented a new service called "Artist's Writing Aid."

We are well aware of how artists struggle with writing Artist Bios and Statements because we review them every month. Many artists do not realize that their Artist Bio and Statement are a gateway to the art world and unfortunately many end up missing out on good opportunities because of poor writing.

So why not let us help you tell your story in a way that resonates, captivates, and elevates your artistic identity.

With our "Artist's Writing Aid", we provide you with a white glove mentor service by:

★ Uncover Your Unique Voice: We’ll conduct interviews and research to understand your artistic journey, inspirations, and aspirations.

★ Craft a Compelling Narrative: We will transform your experiences and thoughts into engaging narratives that captivate your audience.

★ Tailor for Your Audience: We consider your target audience—whether it’s galleries, collectors, or the general public—ensuring your artist bio and statement resonate with them.

★ Edit and Refine: We provide multiple rounds of revisions to ensure your bio and statement are perfect in every way.

Together, we’ll take your artistry to new heights!

HMVC Gallery New York is now offering you the opportunity to have your own solo show on our ArtPlacer virtual platform for a month. Because the artists in our community are at various stages in their careers, we have created three different plans for you to choose from Plan Manor, Plan Palace, and Plan Castle.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in doing a Solo Show with us.

Visit our ongoing Virtual Solo Shows.

This service is by request only so if you would like to know more you can contact us via the contact form or email us at [email protected]

Kind Regards,

HMVC Gallery New York
