"Freestyle 2.0" August group show & Ronaldo Byrd solo show !
Dear artists and friends of the gallery!
We are delighted to bring you
Our August Online Group Art Show "Freestyle 2.0"
During our August group show last year, we featured an open theme that resonated deeply with our artists, leading to the display of truly inspiring artworks on our platform and in NYC. We are very excited to give the floor to our artists this August once again! ”Freestyle” means that there are no limitations on the theme, style or technique so the purpose of this online group exhibition is to showcase the absolute best artworks that the chosen 69 artists have to offer.

You can view the show on our Website.
Ronaldo Byrd was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is a Contemporary Hip “Pop” Artist who began painting at the tender age of 3. As an early teen, Byrd was accepted to and attended Art Instruction School, which boasts graduate, Charles Schulz. He graduated and received a Diploma in Art from Art Instruction School at age 16. While enrolled in the course, Byrd was also attending The High School of Art and Design in New York City, before moving to Burlington, New Jersey. Byrd then was accepted to and attended Burlington County Institute of Technology, where he majored in and received a Diploma in the field of Advertising Art and Design. Byrd is mostly a self-taught Artist who has developed his own style of art and his own characters, which he puts in phenomenal scenes. He has shown his work in several galleries, including a solo show at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Byrd and his artwork have also been featured in several newspapers and magazines. One of which includes, The Philadelphia Inquirer. He has also been a feature story on CBS 3 Eyewitness News. Byrd's message to the world through his artwork is one of love and acceptance. His hope is to convey this as boldly and as beautifully as he can.
"I am a Contemporary Hip "Pop" Artist who just happens to be on the Autistic Spectrum. My artwork focuses on the fact that everyone is beautiful regardless of race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. The bold colors I use represent the way I see the world. There is beauty in everything I see and I believe that everyone has something to offer to the world in their own special and unique way. Thus, I have been deemed "The Artist of Happiness" because of the joy that my artwork brings to countless people. My art and I represent differences and my hope and goal is for the entire world to be able to see beauty and acceptance through my eyes----the eyes of an artist "

September Online Group Show "Harmony & Diversity"
In September we want to explore the theme of harmony and diversity. This theme serves as a reminder that unity does not require homogeneity; instead, true harmony emerges from the acknowledgment and celebration of diversity. By bringing together various artistic styles, subject matters and expressions, this group show not only celebrates the richness of individual creativity, but also highlights the collective strength that emerges when different voices harmonize. Artists are free to submit artworks that showcase their unique voices and visions, and through this collection of diverse artworks, we can illustrate the power of unity in embracing differences.
We welcome artworks from all mediums of visual art, except AI-created art, and video/film.

Elevate Your Artist Bio & Statement With
HMVC’s Gold Standard
We are very happy to announce that we have implemented a new service called "Artist's Writing Aid."
We are well aware of how artists struggle with writing Artist Bios and Statements because we review them every month. Many artists do not realize that their Artist Bio and Statement are a gateway to the art world and unfortunately many end up missing out on good opportunities because of poor writing.
So why not let us help you tell your story in a way that resonates, captivates, and elevates your artistic identity.
With our "Artist's Writing Aid", we provide you with a white glove mentor service by:
★ Uncover Your Unique Voice: We’ll conduct interviews and research to understand your artistic journey, inspirations, and aspirations.
★ Craft a Compelling Narrative: We will transform your experiences and thoughts into engaging narratives that captivate your audience.
★ Tailor for Your Audience: We consider your target audience—whether it’s galleries, collectors, or the general public—ensuring your artist bio and statement resonate with them.
★ Edit and Refine: We provide multiple rounds of revisions to ensure your bio and statement are perfect in every way.
Together, we’ll take your artistry to new heights!
HMVC Gallery New York is now offering you the opportunity to have your own solo show on our ArtPlacer virtual platform for a month. Because the artists in our community are at various stages in their careers, we have created three different plans for you to choose from Plan Manor, Plan Palace, and Plan Castle.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in doing a Solo Show with us.
Visit our ongoing Virtual Solo Shows.
This service is by request only so if you would like to know more you can contact us via the contact form or email us at [email protected]
Kind Regards,
